Time to get your wholesome greens on

Many of us live a very busy lifestyle, me included. I’m always rushing out the door in the morning to get to work, and often don’t finish work until 8pm which means I don’t really have a lot of time during the week to go grocery shopping and cook a wholesome meal packed with vegetables. Therefore, I was happy to discover Daily Greens healthy juices.

They come in a number of flavors from Purity which is just pure green vegetables with a squeeze of lemon, to Elevate, which has a little lime and a vanilla finish, to Morning Greens which has fruits and probiotics for your gut health.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much green goes into each bottle – 4.5 pounds of pure, organic produce? That’s incredible. It really makes me feel less guilty on nights where I skip my 3 servings of vegetables.

The taste of Daily Greens is very refreshing. I personally do not like green juices that have tons of fruit juice added because they taste overly sweet to me. Daily Greens are only lightly sweetened with fruit juice, sometimes only with lemon, so they’re perfect for people that are looking to cut down their sugar consumption as well.

Also, the purity of the produce really comes through in the taste. All of Daily Greens’ ingredients are certified organic and sourced from whole plants, for example the whole kale. A lot of the nutrients in plants are on the stalk and/or skin, so this way we increase our benefits from consuming plants. Also, no pre-frozen juices or purees are in these juices so the freshness is maximized.

One of my favorite flavors is the Morning Greens, with probiotics added. These “good” bacteria are so vital for the proper function of not only our gut, but also immune system, skin and overall health.

I’ve been loving having a few bottles of these in my fridge to drink in the week, and the probiotic one in the morning. It’s an easy, quick and delicious way to get my greens on!
